NATIONAL VIETNAM WAR VETERANS DAY, March 29, 2026.
On this day in 1973, all combat elements withdrew from Vietnam after approximately 20 years. Over 58,000 killed, never to return. And those who returned from a war they didn’t decide to fight in did not receive a Welcome Home, but received scorn, ridicule, and abuse for their service. So please take the time to say “Welcome Home” to a Vietnam veteran or visit the Veterans Cemetery near you and place a Welcome Home flower or American flag on their grave!
